3 of us fished for about 5 hours for fluke and had 0 keepers.
We tried right outside FI inlet first and caught 5 bluefish and only a few short fluke.
Proceeded to 50-60 foot of water only to catch skates...
We then went out to 70 feet of water only to catch sand sharks... must have caught a dozen of them in a half hour. We would catch one, and another one would follow it up right to the top.
Saw a small shark on the way out to 70ft of water as well. Couldn't have been more than 50lbs. Of course we tried to catch it but he wouldn't bite a bluefish chunk...
