Hit Sunken Meadow on 9/9 from about 8:30 to 10:30. Nothing doing and little bait in the water other than some spearing. Threw tin and swimming plugs without result. No sign of bunker, adult or peanuts, but plenty of 4" snapper follows. Strolled to river and noticed that some of the structure in and around had changed a bit due to Ernesto. Tide low and incoming.
9/10 hit SM again Sunday night from 6:30 to 7:30. NE wind honking pretty good but fishable. No one else fishing. Picked up one lone schoolie about 17" on a Hopkins and saw little surface activity and again few signs of substantial bait.
