fire island reef - 10/19/06

Status: offline 		fished the FI reef targeting blacks/sea bass on Thursday, 10/19

Was a little choppy and their was a pretty good southeast roll...

Water temp was 62

Used Clams/green crabs

caught a bunch of small sea bass and porgies... No keepers and no blackfish

We anchored over 3 different pieces of the reef and all 3 times we were sure we hit the right spot because we kept getting caught on the bottom and losing rigs... Not a single blackfish bite on the green crabs and the clams were quickly eaten up by small porgies/sea bass...
