1. im guessing your a newbie. 2. When asking about reports either youll get a smart ass answer or nobody will say anything, they dont want to hear it or waste their time. 3. Im guessin you want a tutorial and because im in a good mood ill give you one. Now things scince you are a newby as i setup i suggest a penn silverado sv6000 with a 50 pound BRAID of power pro, and a 10ft ugly stik. Or if you want to jump right into things try lessons from bill wetzel or steve knaip( bills website is longislandsurffishing.com). Also you must know the difference between standing on the shore like and idiot and surfishing. Real surfrats work hard for fish this means 2am wakeup, walking 20 miles, fishing when its 25 degrees, the list goes on and on. What im tryin to say is to be sucessful you have to work hard. Anyway back to helpin you, another few things ya need is a book called "the surfcasters guide to the stiper coast" by dj muller. I also suggest going to zenohromin.com to see about his book. Another thing you need is plugs which are wooden lures and as i starter i suggest just buyin a 2oz white buctail, pork rinds, and maybee a 2 1/2 gibbs pencil popper. Also when you go to your bait shop ask for swirvels to snap on you plugs. Another thing go to surfrats.com, its unbelivable how much info you can get. Anyway i hope ive helped you out. Talk to me if you need any help. Goodluck and tightlines.
