Hi, all!! Ok Im not a newbie to surf casting or fishing the south shore from jones beach to montauk but today at shinncock on the south side of the old bridge I saw a fish Ive never seen before, it was kinda shaped like an angel fish, it was a blueish grey and it had a large fin behind the dorsal on top and bottom almost to the tail, cool looking, some guy approched me and offered me the fish probably for the same reason i didnt accept it. I dont know what it was, if there is a size limit, if there is a season and weather it was in season. Wabit season, duck season, wabit season, duck season. Well anyway I would love to know what it was and anything else you could tell me about it.A while late my sons friend caught the same kind of fish in the shinnecock canal.
