Trying to find out whats running and the best way to fish for them.I fish off the peir on wellwood ave

hmm... never really been to the wellwood ave pier but I would assume the same things are running their as other piers...

You can try for some blues/bass using a spinning rod and a diamond jig (see pic below) - basically you just cast out the jig and reel it back in over and over again...

You can also try for snappers (baby blue fish) for some fun... you can use a popper or a small snapper hook with a float.
