I fish mostly from docks, and im looking to buy a fishing Kayak for next season.I mostly fish for Bluefish and, Stripers. Can anynoe help me out with what rod and reel to go with, and or what Kayak to buy. First off before you get in a kayak go to captainkayak.com and get lessons.  As far as kayak you should probably get a pelican but ask your guide.  For reel you should go with a penn slammer 760 with a 20 pound fireline under and a 50lbs braid over.  And as far a rod as your guide about that because im not sure what length you should get.  Hope i helped.  Ask me if  you need anything.

As far as line stick with green(braid).  When you go get the line normally they can spool it up for you(no charge), if they dont theyll tell you a place that does.  BTW if your serious about kayak fishing GET LESSONS FROM CAPTAIN KAYAK, you will not be able to do it without his help.
