Conditions weren't great with the winds gusting to 35 knots from the NE. Only saving grace was the outgoing tide. John Jr.and Sr. and Joshua and Jesse aboard this afternoon for real good action on the bass.Boated 11 bass with only two being under 28". The largest was a 40" fish that when they went to grab the pole they opened the bail by mistake and made a huge bird nest. Luckily the fish was about 150 to 200 feet away and not pulling away. We grabbed a spinning rod and reel set up and cut and spliced the two lines and were able to bring the fish in on the spinning rod.
