Today I went on the Laura Lee and caught 17 keepers. Mostly porgy's and blue fish. This was the best day of fishing I ever had. There were over 300 keepers on the boat.

You need a night fishing permit only if you fish after sun down. If so, you could buy the night fishing permit at Jones Beach Field 4 administration bldg. or Robert Moses Park Police station on the Great South Bay side, opposite of Field 3. If you fish at Captree during the morning, afternoon, or early evening no permit required.
