Hello all,

I will be moving to LI probably around Huntington from Tampa, Fl. I am a little sad leaving my hometown but have to for a little bit.

I own a 218 DLV Carolina skiff and wanted to know what type of saltwater fishing there is? Is it worth bring the boat up?

I am use to wreck fishing, flats fishing, and a little trolling. Any comments welcomed.

Tight lines,
Javy

Javy,
Feel your pain. Just moved to LI (Lindenhurst) from Kissimmee, FL - less than 1 mile from West Lake Toho. Have my Bayliner Trophy still at the house down south for now. I am used to bass fishing, as well as fishing the flats on the east coast of FL (Titusville, Mosquito Lagoon, Cocoa, etc.). Only been up here for 3 months, and yet to wet a line, but will shortly as the weather improves. From what I have been told, everyone tells me to bring my boat up here, not to sell it down there. So based on that, I am going to say bring the boat.
Enjoy, and hoep to run into you on the water!

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone. I appreciate the concern which is been rose. The things need tobe sorted out because it is about the individual but it can be with everyone. The above thought is smart and doesn’t require any further addition. It’s perfect thought from my side.A very smart and diplomatic answer. It’s really appreciable and general. The above thought is smart and doesn’t require any further addition. It’s perfect thought from my side.A very smart and diplomatic answer.
